Irises are a favourite of mine to paint. They have such character in their ‘faces’, which I just find irresistible as painting subject matter. I painted this from life over the course of a few early mornings and evenings and enjoyed the sombre tones.

All paintings are priced without frames.  Framing can be arranged at a small additional cost (for UK, European and EEA collectors only).
